Training/Awareness Raising

Training and awareness raising sessions are facilitated by staff on an on-going basis. The purpose of these sessions is to make people aware of young carers and their issues and needs. This can be done formally or informally, for purely informative purposes or for professional development, and to enable staff to identify and support young carers within the context they work in.

The project facilitates training on a regular basis to the following professionals/organisations –

  • PGCE students at Dundee University
  • Social Work Students at Dundee University
  • Health Care Students at Dundee College
  • Community Groups

Full or half day training is available and the training is free to organisations within the Dundee city boundary. Contact us for further details on 200422.
